In my search for a round dining table I went to a huge furniture-/ homedecorating store called 'Nijhof'. I couldn't find a round table but I did find something else i'm very happy with. In a bucket, hidden in a small corner, where old original textile stamps from India. They are handmade out of teakwood and are used to impress textiles and cloth with either inks, dyes or wax. They had so many beautiful dreamy prints that it was hard to choose, but I liked the floral print blocks the most. I think I might use them to make a few paintings, see how that works out. In the mean while I think they look great in my china cabinet with the handmade Buddha we bought two years ago on the market in Bali.
